You guys actually had breakfast at Hattie’s Hat? Roo and I tried it once — had to wait like nine hours for a table, then another 90 minutes to convince a waitress to bring us menus, water, etc … Was not a positive Ballard dining experience.
I think we have some cred over there, but in that last photo with Krista and Ryan, there’s a metal light cover not long for this world. When Krista got up from the table, she accidentally lifted it up with her head, and it came crashing down to the floor. To quote Bon Jovi, we left in a “BLAZE OF GLORY!!!” I guess we took care of that so OSHA didn’t have to. Still the best non-fancy breakfast in Seattle.
